Rodri speaks about phone call with Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho

Barcelona midfielder Rodri Hernandez has been asked about a phone conversation he held with Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho had attempted to persuade the Spain international to leave Manchester City, but Barcelona ultimately won the race to sign him.

The Portuguese coach later acknowledged that he had spoken directly to Rodri by telephone. Rodri has now responded to a question about that conversation, although no further details of their discussion were provided.

Rodri’s transfer to Barcelona cost 60m euros, excluding bonuses.
