Rio Ngumoha: England-Nigeria winger linked with PSG move from Liverpool
England-Nigeria winger Rio Ngumoha is being linked with a move from Liverpool to Paris St-Germain. The 18-year-old left winger joined Liverpool’s first team from the club’s under-18 side in July 2025 and is contracted at Anfield until June 2028.
Ngumoha has featured in all three of Liverpool’s competitions so far this season, making three Premier League appearances, one Champions League appearance and one EFL Cup appearance. He has started the Champions League and EFL Cup matches, while starting 25% of Liverpool’s league games.
The winger moved to Liverpool’s academy from Chelsea’s youth set-up in September 2024, with his transfer to Liverpool’s under-18 side recorded at €3.2m. He was born in London and is eligible to represent both England and Nigeria.
Ngumoha’s current market value is listed at €30m, although no transfer fee or probability has been attached to the reported PSG interest. His contract means Liverpool are under no immediate pressure to sell, with more than a year remaining on the agreement after the current season.
The reported link comes as Ngumoha continues to receive senior opportunities at Liverpool, where he has played 100 minutes in the Premier League, 60 in the Champions League and 72 in the EFL Cup this campaign.
