Piers Morgan makes bold Manchester City prediction after Arsenal’s Everton win

Arsenal supporter and journalist Piers Morgan has backed the Gunners to finish top of the Premier League, while predicting that Manchester City will be relegated at the end of the season.

His comments came after Arsenal recorded a 2-0 home victory over Everton in the eighth round of the English top flight.

The result gave Arsenal an important win, although Manchester City currently remain above them in the table. Enzo Maresca’s side occupy first place, with Arsenal behind on additional indicators.

Manchester City are also facing the possibility of punishment over numerous alleged breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules. Against that backdrop, Morgan said he expected Arsenal to finish first and Manchester City to drop out of the division by the end of the campaign.
