Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini has rejected comparisons between himself and Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick ahead of their Spanish league meeting on 17 October.

“I don’t know Flick well enough to say that we are similar,” Pellegrini said at his pre-match press conference.

Barcelona go into the fixture top of the championship with 24 points, while Real Betis are third on 19 points.
