Nico Paz transfer: Arsenal face Real Madrid competition for Como midfielder

Arsenal are still monitoring Como attacking midfielder Nico Paz, although Real Madrid are believed to hold the advantage in the race for his signature, according to Football Insider.

The 22-year-old Argentina international has emerged as a potential target for the Gunners, but Real Madrid have a buy-back option that could prove significant in any future deal.

Paz joined Como’s first-team setup and has featured in six matches across all competitions this season. He has scored one goal and provided three assists during those appearances.

Despite Arsenal’s continued interest, Football Insider reports that Real Madrid are ahead of the London club in the pursuit of the midfielder because of their contractual option to bring him back.

Paz’s current market value is estimated at €80m by Transfermarkt.
