Mourinho to keep faith with Valverde and Tchouameni at Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is set to continue with Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni as his preferred central-midfield pairing.

The Portuguese coach remains committed to the duo despite Real Madrid’s difficult first-half performance in their recent Champions League match against Roma, when Uruguay international Valverde and France midfielder Tchouameni started together.

According to Marca, both players are expected to retain their places in the starting line-up for Real Madrid’s next matches.

Real Madrid host Sevilla on Sunday in the ninth round of La Liga. The match is scheduled to kick off at 22:00 Moscow time.
