Mourinho highlights Brahim Diaz’s impact after Real Madrid Champions League win

Jose Mourinho praised Brahim Diaz after Real Madrid’s 4-1 Champions League victory over RB Leipzig, pointing to the midfielder’s contribution despite his limited playing time.

“Let me talk about a player who plays little but is always good,” Mourinho said of the Morocco international.

Diaz had not started for Real Madrid since the beginning of September. He came on in the 78th minute on Wednesday but still had time to make an impact, providing an assist in the convincing win.

The 27-year-old has now registered two assists in six appearances this season, while starting only two of those matches.
