Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez ‘keen’ on Atletico de Madrid move, reports say

Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Atletico de Madrid over personal terms, although the Spanish club has yet to make official contact with his current employers.

North Bank Insider reports that the 28-year-old Argentina international is firmly interested in joining Atletico de Madrid. However, no formal discussions have taken place between the La Liga club and Manchester United over a potential transfer.

Martinez has made 10 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring once. His current contract with Manchester United expires next summer.
