Manchester City move ended Inter’s plan to bring Gianluigi Donnarumma back to Italy

Inter had planned to make a move for Gianluigi Donnarumma if the goalkeeper allowed his contract with Paris St-Germain to expire, according to Tribuna.com.

The Milan club were prepared to sign the Italy international as a free agent when his deal with the French side ended in the summer of 2026. Inter would have offered Donnarumma a five-year contract worth seven million euros per season.

However, those plans were ended by Manchester City, who signed Donnarumma from Paris St-Germain for 40 million euros last year.
