The Super Falcons will be aiming to win a record-extending 11th WAFCON title when the tournament takes place in Morocco from July 26 to August 16, 2026.

Nigeria has been drawn in Group C alongside Egypt, Zambia and tournament debutants Malawi, with all three group-stage fixtures scheduled to be played in Rabat.

The 2026 edition will also mark the first time the Women's Africa Cup of Nations will feature 16 participating teams.

Beyond the continental title, qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil will also be at stake, with the four semi-finalists earning automatic qualification, while the fifth-placed team will advance to the intercontinental play-offs.
