Lizarazu: Ronaldo’s former strength has now turned against him

Former France international Bixente Lizarazu has spoken about the difficulties facing Cristiano Ronaldo, who has effectively been shown the door by the Portugal national team.

“His egoism, which was one of Ronaldo’s strengths, is now working against him,” Lizarazu said.

Cristiano Ronaldo has represented Portugal since 2003.
