Liverpool’s Jeremie Frimpong emerges as Barcelona transfer target

Barcelona are considering a move for Liverpool right-back Jeremie Frimpong during the winter transfer window, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.

The Netherlands international has not made the strongest start to the season, while Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola does not view him as a regular starter.

Frimpong, 25, is reportedly open to a move to the Catalan club and would be willing to join Barcelona.

Liverpool are prepared to sell the former Bayer Leverkusen player for about 35m euros, the report says.

Frimpong’s current contract at Anfield runs until the middle of 2030.
