Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz is not a Bayern Munich transfer target, says report

Liverpool attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz is not expected to join Bayern Munich in the next transfer windows, according to journalist Christian Falk, speaking to CF Bayern Insider.

Despite ongoing speculation, Bayern Munich are not currently working on a deal for the 23-year-old, while Liverpool have no interest in selling him.

However, Wirtz’s preferred destination would be Bayern Munich if he decides to return to Germany in the future.

Wirtz has made five appearances in all competitions this season and provided one assist.

His contract with Liverpool runs until the end of June 2030.
