Liverpool enter race for Stuttgart’s highly rated defender Finn Jeltsch

Liverpool have joined Barcelona and Real Madrid in pursuing Stuttgart centre-back Finn Jeltsch, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has established himself as one of German football’s most promising defensive players since moving to Stuttgart from Nurnberg in 2024.

His performances had already attracted interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. Sport now reports that Liverpool are also monitoring Jeltsch as they consider a possible move for the defender.

However, any transfer is not expected to take place during the upcoming January transfer window. Stuttgart currently have no intention of allowing Jeltsch to leave in January, meaning interested clubs would have to wait until next summer to pursue a deal.
