Liverpool boss Iraola provides injury update on Frimpong

Liverpool full-back Jeremie Frimpong was forced off after only six minutes of the recent match against Brentford, with the Netherlands international being replaced because of an injury.

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has since provided an update on Frimpong’s condition, although no further details about the injury were given.

Frimpong has made eight appearances for Liverpool this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

Iraola’s side will face Brighton in their next Premier League fixture.
