Leclerc says Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Matvey Safonov was ‘under threat’ against Brest

Journalist Jean-Philippe Leclerc, the former deputy editor-in-chief of L'Equipe, gave his assessment of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Matvey Safonov’s display in the 1-0 win against Brest.

“Safonov was under threat,” Leclerc said.

The 27-year-old has made four appearances for Paris Saint-Germain in the current Ligue 1 season, conceding six goals.

Luis Enrique’s side have collected five points and occupy seventh place in the Ligue 1 table.
