Jose Mourinho sets varied workloads for Real Madrid squad during international break

Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has drawn up individual training schedules for his players during the international break after the club’s defeat by Atletico in the Madrid derby.

Mourinho has given the squad four days off, with the team due to return to training on Friday. However, Marca reports that the coaching staff will set different workloads for each player based on their physical condition.

Some players will be granted additional rest, while others will continue training. The break will also give certain members of the squad the chance to address gaps in their preparation from pre-season.

Mourinho will be without 15 players who have been called up by their national teams. To maintain numbers in training, he plans to involve players from Real Madrid’s academy.
