Inter Milan Sign Super Falcons Star Toni Payne on Three-Year Deal
Italian women's football club Inter Milan have completed the signing of Super Falcons forward Toni Payne on a three-year contract following the expiration of her stay at Everton, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Serie A Femminile side confirmed that the Nigeria international has signed a deal that will keep her at the club until June 30, 2028, as they strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Born on April 22, 1995, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Nigerian parents, Payne began her football journey alongside her siblings, Nicole and Stephen Payne, who have also represented Nigeria at international level.
After progressing through the ranks in the United States, the versatile attacker moved to Europe, where she played for Ajax before joining Spanish side Sevilla in 2018.
Payne enjoyed a highly successful six-year spell with Sevilla, making 168 appearances and scoring 30 goals while establishing herself as one of Liga F's most reliable attacking players.
She joined Women's Super League club Everton in 2024 before sealing her latest move to Inter Milan.
At international level, Payne initially featured for the United States at youth level before switching allegiance to Nigeria.
Since making her Super Falcons debut in 2021, the 30-year-old has become a key member of the national team, earning recognition for her versatility, creativity and experience.
Inter Milan will be hoping Payne's wealth of experience and proven quality will strengthen their attacking options as they target a successful 2026/27 season.
