Galatasaray hope Victor Osimhen will return for Barcelona Champions League clash

Galatasaray are targeting the return of Victor Osimhen for their Champions League meeting with Barcelona after the Nigerian striker missed the 3-1 defeat by Sporting through injury, according to BSNSports.com.ng.

The yellow-red team will host the Catalan side on October 13th, with Osimhen expected to have recovered in time to feature.

Galatasaray are looking to use the home fixture to rebuild momentum in the competition, with the availability of the Super Eagles striker viewed as a boost.

Osimhen was also absent from the Frankfurt match because of injury. In both that game and the defeat by Sporting, Galatasaray scored the opening goal.

The club will hope the Nigerian is fit to face Barcelona as they seek a positive result at home and a return to winning form in the Champions League.
