Fenerbahce weighing January move for Bursaspor striker Kelechi Iheanacho

Fenerbahce are considering a January approach for Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho after his strong start to life with Turkish second-tier club Bursaspor.

The Turkish Super Lig club are reportedly preparing an offer for the former Leicester City and Manchester City striker, whose goalscoring form has made him an influential player since joining Bursaspor last summer.

Iheanacho has scored 13 goals since his arrival, performances which have attracted the attention of the Istanbul-based side.

Fenerbahce are expected to pursue the Nigeria international during the January transfer window as they assess ways to strengthen their attacking options.

However, it remains uncertain whether Bursaspor would be prepared to release Iheanacho midway through the season.
