Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has suffered a serious injury while with the England squad, with supporters questioning how his playing time was managed by Thomas Tuchel’s coaching staff.

The 23-year-old played 70 minutes in England’s 7-0 Nations League victory over Croatia before sustaining the injury. According to The Touchline, fans believe the problem could have been avoided because Scott had already been experiencing discomfort before kick-off.

Scott is expected to be sidelined for around two months, dealing a significant blow to Bournemouth and ending his involvement with the national team for the foreseeable future.

The midfielder made his England debut on 29 September against Czechia.
