Everton will begin the 10th round of the Premier League at home to Coventry on Friday, 6 November 2026, with a victory and clean sheet forecast for David Moyes’ side.

Everton ended a three-match winless run in the league last weekend by beating Newcastle 1-0. That result lifted the Toffees to 13 points from nine matches and seventh place in the Premier League table.

Moyes’ team have collected those points through three victories and four draws, while suffering two defeats. They have also won their past two matches in all competitions after a run of three games without success.

Coventry also come into the fixture after a victory. Frank Lampard’s side recorded a 3-1 home win over Sunderland in their previous league match.

However, Coventry have found consistency difficult this season. They have won three of their nine league matches and lost the other six, leaving them 16th in the Premier League with nine points.

Head-to-head record and recent form

The two clubs have met 81 times. Everton have won 37 of those matches, while Coventry have recorded 24 victories.

Coventry’s last six matches have produced three wins and three defeats. Everton, meanwhile, are on a two-match winning run following their recent three-game sequence without victory across all competitions.

The bookmakers regard Everton as the favourites for the meeting at Goodison Park.

The prediction is for Everton to secure the points. With home advantage, the Toffees are also expected to prevent Coventry from scoring.
