Emiliano Te names Guinea-Bissau squad for 2027 AFCON qualifying double-header
Guinea-Bissau manager Emiliano Te has selected a 25-player squad for the start of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
The Djurtus will begin their Group L fixtures away to Tanzania on 25 September 2026 before hosting Nigeria’s Super Eagles on 29 September 2026.
Te’s squad includes players from clubs across Europe, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United States, with three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards named.

The first assignment for Emiliano Te’s side will come in Tanzania on 25 September, when Guinea-Bissau begin their Group L campaign on the road.
Four days later, the Djurtus will return home to face Nigeria, completing their opening two matches in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
