Dani Carvajal set to join Getafe after completing medical

Dani Carvajal is close to becoming a Getafe player after agreeing personal terms with the La Liga club and completing his medical examinations, according to football insider Fabrizio Romano.

Getafe are ready to officially present the defender, but must first receive approval from La Liga confirming that the club complies with its financial regulations.

The 34-year-old became a free agent last summer after leaving Real Madrid. He made 23 appearances for the Spanish club last season and provided one assist.
