Burkina Faso squad build unity before CAN 2027 qualifier against Benin

Burkina Faso’s preparations for their opening CAN 2027 qualifying match are continuing in a relaxed atmosphere, with the Etalons using their training camp to strengthen their team spirit.

Alongside their work on the pitch, the squad have been taking the opportunity to spend time together, exchange ideas and renew relationships within the group.

Twenty-four players have already reported for duty. The final member of the squad is expected to arrive on Tuesday at 14:00, completing the group assembled by head coach Amir Abdou and his staff.

The full squad will then continue its preparations for the opening match of the qualifying campaign, as Burkina Faso host Benin on Friday, 25 September.

The game will be played at the Stade du 4-Aout, where the Etalons will begin their bid to qualify for CAN 2027.
