Burkina Faso set for Benin test as 2027 AFCON qualifying preparations begin

Burkina Faso have begun their preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, with the first players at the national-team camp taking part in training on Monday afternoon.

The opening session was held at the Stade du 4-Aout under the supervision of head coach Amir Abdou and his staff, officially launching preparations for a decisive week for the Etalons.

Burkina Faso will start their Group F campaign at home against Benin on Friday, 25 September. The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:00 GMT at the Stade du 4-Aout.

The Etalons will then travel to Casablanca to face the Central African Republic on 28 September in their second qualifying fixture.
