Brighton have produced the fourth-highest goals tally by any team in their opening seven Premier League matches, having scored 23 goals in the 2026/27 season.

Only three sides have scored more at the same stage of a campaign: Arsenal hit 24 goals in 2009/10, Manchester United also scored 24 in 2011/12, while Manchester City reached 27 in 2019/20.

Brighton’s latest contribution to that total came in a 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace, with the Seagulls unexpectedly overwhelming their rivals, known as the Eagles, without conceding.

The result moved Brighton up to third in the Premier League table.

They will face another major test in their next match when they host Liverpool on Sunday, 25 October.
