Barcelona post landmark billion-euro turnover after Camp Nou return

Barcelona generated more than €1bn in annual revenue for the first time in the club’s history during the 2025-26 season, according to financial results published by the club and reported by Yahoo Sports.

The record figure was achieved after the team returned to Camp Nou in November 2025, with the move back to the stadium identified as the main factor behind the increase in income.

Barcelona’s return to its home ground took place while reconstruction work was still incomplete. As a result, the stadium’s capacity was restricted to 42,000 spectators rather than being fully available.

Even with that limitation, the return to Camp Nou made the biggest contribution to the club’s improved financial performance during the season. The report records the achievement as the first time Barcelona’s annual revenue has exceeded the €1bn mark.

The club also reported higher sponsorship income in 2025-26. In addition, Barcelona recorded record sales of club merchandise through BLM, another area cited in the financial results as contributing to the season’s performance.
