Arsenal are monitoring Newcastle United winger Bazoumana Toure, according to a report by Caught Offside.

The 20-year-old Ivory Coast international joined Newcastle from Hoffenheim in July for £42m after contributing to 17 goals for the German club last season.

Toure has made a positive start in front of goal since moving to St James’ Park, scoring twice in five appearances for Newcastle across all competitions this season. However, he has yet to start a Premier League match for the club.

Any potential move would be complicated by the length of Toure’s contract, which runs until 2031. There is no information about whether the agreement includes a release clause.

Arsenal are not the only club reported to be tracking the winger. Liverpool and Manchester United are also said to be monitoring his progress.

Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle has previously said that Toure needs time to adapt to English football.
