Akeem Busari is set to add a new assignment to his coaching career after taking up a role with Remo Stars Ladies while remaining in charge of Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Busari recently led the Flamingos to the 2026 WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup title, further enhancing his profile in women’s football.

The coach is now focused on the next challenge with the Nigerian youngsters as preparations continue for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.

His involvement with Remo Stars Ladies will see him take on club responsibilities alongside his ongoing national-team duties with the Flamingos.

Busari has previously worked with Pacesetters and was also part of the technical crew at Bayelsa Queens during their successful 2025 NWFL Premiership Super Six campaign.

His latest appointment gives him another opportunity to work at club level while continuing his role with one of Nigeria’s key women’s youth national teams.

With the Flamingos preparing for the World Cup and his new club assignment beginning, Busari will now combine both responsibilities as he continues to build his coaching career in women’s football.
