The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL Interim Management Committee  has now proposed Tuesday 23rd May to Saturday 3rd June, 2023 as dates for the Super six, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The tournament was previously scheduled to be played from the 19th of May, but had to be shifted due to readjustments of some League fixtures.

For a club like Rivers United whose matches had to be rescheduled due to their continental engagement have a couple of outstanding matches that need to be played before the conclusion of the league.

The regular League season will end on the 21st of May as matches from group A and group B will have been concluded by then.

The NPFL Super 6 Playoff would hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos where six teams from Group A and B (3 each) will play in a round robin format to determine the league champions, CAF champions league and CAF Confederation Cup representatives.
