In a move that will surely excite Abia Warriors fans, the club announced the triumphant return of manager Imama Amapakabo. Amapakabo, a familiar face at the Umuahia-based club, has signed a two-year contract and will lead the team into the upcoming 2024/25 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

This marks Amapakabo's second stint at the helm for Abia Warriors, and the anticipation is high as both parties look to build on past successes and propel the team to new heights in the upcoming league campaign.

The club announced his return with a post that reads: "We are excited to welcome back Imama Amapakabo on a two-year deal as the new coach. Show the Gaffer some love and get ready for an amazing journey together again".

The highly rated gaffer defied expectations in 2016 when he steered Rangers International to Nigerian league glory. He was one of the youngest coaches in the league at the time, making his achievement even more impressive.
