Ike Ugbo is set to join French club Troyes from Genk for six Million Euros.

He will get a three-year contract.

This was after the striker’s successful loan spell at the French club last season.

The former Chelsea player will be expected to enjoy first-team football in France, which will enhance his chances of making the final squad to this year’s World Cup with Canada.

He was eligible to feature for the Super Eagles through his parents and England, where he was born, before he opted for Canada at full international level.
