Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho continued his fine form for Scottish champions Celtic in their thrilling 3–2 victory over Motherwell at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The Nigerian striker opened the scoring for Brendan Rodgers’ side in the 27th minute, calmly converting from the penalty spot to hand the Hoops an early lead.

Motherwell fought back to equalize before halftime, but Celtic’s resilience shone through as Matt O’Riley and Daizen Maeda struck late to seal all three points despite a spirited late response from the visitors.

Iheanacho, who joined Celtic this summer on a free transfer from Sevilla following his departure from Leicester City, has now netted three goals since he arrived in Glasgow, cementing his place as one of the club’s key attacking figures this season.
