AC Milan senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to confirm or deny reports of a last-ditch attempt to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian striker ultimately joined Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal, despite interest from Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli and Chelsea.

Italian news outlet AS Tuttosport suggested AC Milan made a late bid for Osimhen, but Ibrahimovic remained tight-lipped when questioned on the matter.

"I won't comment," Ibrahimovic replied, accompanied by a sly half-smile.

Osimhen made an impressive debut for Galatasaray, helping the team thrash Caykur Rizespor 5-0 last weekend.

The 24-year-old's departure from Napoli had sparked a frantic transfer scramble, with several top clubs vying for his signature.

While Ibrahimovic's silence fuels speculation, AC Milan's interest in Osimhen remains unclear, leaving fans to wonder what might have been.

Galatasaray, meanwhile, will be buoyed by Osimhen's promising start, as they seek to dominate the Turkish Super Lig.
