Ibrahimovic predicts Barcelona success and Lamine Yamal Ballon d’Or win

Former footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic has backed Barcelona to win the Champions League and named their winger Lamine Yamal as his choice for the Ballon d’Or.

The Swedish star’s predictions, reported by The Touchline with reference to ESPN, also include winners for several domestic competitions.

Ibrahimovic believes Manchester City will win the English championship, while Chelsea will lift the FA Cup. He has selected Barcelona to claim the Spanish championship as well as European football’s biggest club prize.

For the Ballon d’Or, Ibrahimovic expects the award to go to Yamal, who plays for Barcelona and Spain.

The Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place in London on 26 October. Ousmane Dembele won the award last year, with Yamal finishing second in the voting.
