Moses Nana, the Chairman of Nigeria Women's Football League, NWFL side, Ibom Angels has disclosed the club plans ahead of the resumption of the second stanza of the league.

Nana said the club revealed that club plans to add about five players to the squad to fortify the team.

Ibom Angels have seen their first stanza of their NWFL campaign go soar as they sit bottom of group B with three points from a possible 18.

The club chairman says the club seeks to change that and apologise for the team's performance.

"We have contacted over five players to join the team to fortify it ahead of the second round of the league,” Nana said.

“We are sincerely sorry for the team’s bad performance as some of the players couldn’t live up to expectations.

“So some new players are already on their way to join the camp of the team. We hope to see a new improved side in the second round.”

The Uyo based team play Nasarawa Amazons when the league resumes on the 8th February, 2023 in the next game.
