Goal king of the just ended Zone Two Division One League Bright Lukman has disclosed that he could have scored more than 29 goals for his club but decided to allow his other colleagues to also score some of the goals.

The Ebusua Dwarfs striker insists that he had to allow his other team mates on numerous occasions to also take penalty kicks to enable them also get their names of the score sheet either than that he could have scored close to 35 goals.

"I could have scored more goals during the league but I sometimes had to allow some of my team mates to also score some of the goals," Bright Lukman said.

"In some instances, I sometimes allow some of my team mates to take certain kicks that could have gotten me more goals."

"In our last game for instance, we had a penalty but I decided to leave it for another person to play. I was not purposely after the goal king but the general progress of the team," Lukman added.

Lukman, who is one of the four Division One players invited for the Local Black Stars stressed that the qualification of Ebusua Dwarfs was paramount to the entire team and not individual glories.

"Our major target was to get Dwarfs into the Premier League and not purposely for any player to win any individual award. That is why I was not overly determined to score more goals," he concluded.
