Following a surprising home defeat to Blackburn Rovers in the Round 16 stage of the English FA Cup, Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho revealed he was so disappointed. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Nigeria international came in and scored for the Leicester City at the King Power stadium on Tuesday night but his goal was not enough to turn things around as Leicester lost 2-1 to the Rovers.
“I am so disappointed, I don’t even have the words now especially because we were at home,” Iheanacho told LCTV.
“We did our bit but it was not enough. If you don’t do what you have to do, you get punished. We just have to look forward to the Premier League and do better.”
The 2021 FA Cup Champions will face Southampton in a Premier League clash this weekend.
