Andre Ayew continued to dominate the headlines among Ghanaian players abroad over the weekend after scoring and assisting a goal to help Swansea City defeat Manchester United in the Premier League.

There were also goals for defender John Boye and his Black Stars team-mate David Accam in the American Major League Soccer.

French-born Grejohn Kyei scored in the French Ligue 1 while Mahatma Otoo continued his scoring run in the Norwegian second-tier.

Dominic Oduro also scored a consolation goal for Montreal Impact in the MLS.

ENGLAND

Andre Ayew continued his impressive showing against the big-guns as he scored against Manchester United and assisted Swansea City's match-winner in their 2-1 win over Manchester United.

Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew was benched once again by Aston Villa who drew 2-2 with Sunderland at the Villa Park. Jordan was unused by manager Tim Sherwood.

Versatile wing-half Jeffrey Schlupp lasted the entire regulation minutes for Leicester City who held Bournemouth to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium. English-born Ghanaian youngster Joe Dodoo came off the Leicester City bench in the 71st minute to play for Leicester. Winger Christian Atsu failed to make the Bournemouth squad for the game.

Defender Baba Rahman watched from the Chelsea bench as the Blues slipped to a 2-1 home loss against Crystal Palace. The 21-year-old was hoping to make his debut.

Youngster Bernard Mensah remained with the Watford U21 side when they slipped to a 2-0 loss at Mancheser City on Saturday.

In the Championship, Middlesbrough booked a 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday without want-away Ghana winger Albert Adomah.

Former Liberty Professionals Academy boy Koby Arthur was left out of the Birmingham City squad for their 2-0 away victory over MK Dons. Andrew Osei-Bonsu was not MK Dons squad for the game.

English-born Tariqe Fosu could not make the Reading grades for their 3-1 win over Brentford.

Elsewhere in the League One, former King Faisal winger Enoch Ebo Andoh played 63 minutes for Port Vale when they lost 1-0 at Bradford City.

In the League Two, Carlisle United emerged 3-2 victors over Hartlepool. Veteran Ghanaian winger Derrick Asamoah played came off the bench in the second-half to play for Carlisle but French-born Kevin Osei missed the game with injury. Former Aston Villa Academy graduate Ebby Nelson-Addy came off the Hartlepool bench to play in the second-half.

Former Ajax Amsterdam player Stanley Aborah Snr. was not in the Notts County team that lost 4-1 against Morecombe Wanderers.

In other games, Plymouth Argle beat Newport 1-0. Crystal Palace loanee Hiram Boateng played the full 90 minutes while former Arsenal Academy boy Zak Ansah came off the bench to play for Newport.

NETHERLANDS

Defender Johan Kappelhof was in full time action for FC Groningen when FC Utrecht defeated them 2-0. Youngster Rodney Antwi was not in the Utrecht squad for the game.

FC Twente slipped to their third straight defeat after losing 2-0 at Heracles Almelo. There was neither Shadrach Eghan nor Thomas Agyepong in the FC Twente squad for the game.

German-born defender Marcel Appiah conspicuously missed out of NEC Nijmegen's team when they recorded a 1-0 away win over Willem II.

Roda JC claimed a 1-0 away win over AZ Alkmaar. Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen played the entire game Alkmaar while Edwin Gyasi also played the full minutes of the game for Roda.

Youngster Kenny Tete played 67 minutes for Ajax Amsterdam who condemned ADO Den Haag to a 4-0 defeat.

Elsewhere in the second-tier league, Manchester City loanee Divine Naah played 53 minutes for NAC Breda when they held Helmond Sport to 1-1 draw.

Dutch-born forward Johnathan Opoku was in full-time action for VVV Venlo when they held leaders Volendam to a 1-1 draw on Friday.

ITALY

Newly-invited Black Stars midfielder Godfred Donsah suffered a shoulder injury and was replaced in the 55th minute when Bologna succumbed to a 1-0 home loss against Sassuolo. Former Inter Milan Joseph Alfred Duncan played the entire minutes of the game for Sassuolo.

Injured Kwadwo Asamoah miss Juventus' 2-1 loss at AS Roma.

Injured Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu watched from the stands as Udinese succumbed to a 1-0 home loss against Palermo.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was not in the Atalanta side that defeat newcomers Frosinone 2-0. Midfielder Raman Chibsah was unused by the Frosinone.

Afriyie Acquah came off the Torino bench to play in their 3-1 win over Fiorentina. Acquah's introduction inspired Torino as they scored thrice.

AUSTRIA

Neither David Atanga nor Reinhold Yabo played for Red Bull Salzburg in their 3-2 win over Sturn Graz.

Ghana youth goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Ralph Dwamena were both in action for Liefering as they managed a 2-1 victory over Austria Lustenau on Friday. Dwamena was booked in the 83rd minute.

BELGIUM

Defender Nana Akwasi Asare manned the left-back for Uefa Champions League KAA Gent when they drew 2-2 with KV Mechelen on Saturday.

Ghana U20 striker Benjamin Tetteh could not make the Standard Liege squad for their 7-1 loss at Club Brugge.

Winger Frank Acheampong played the last 18 minutes for Anderlecht in their 3-0 away win over Westerlo. Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau played the full 90 minutes for Westerlo.

Former Liberty Professionals youth team striker Eugene Ansah played the last 13 minutes for Lokeren who lost 2-1 against Waasland-Beveren. Defender Denis Odoi played the entire match for Lokeren.

Midfielder Samuel Asamoah came off the bench to anchor the midfielder for OH Leuven when they booked a narrow 1-0 victory over St Triuden.

Midfielder Bennard Kumordzi missed Genk's 2-0 win over Sporting Charleroi with injury.

In the Second Division, former Ghana U17 and U20 striker Kwame Nsor came off the bench in the second-half to play for Seraing Utd who lost 3-1 against Tubize.

Meanwhile Deinze posted a 1-0 win over Lierse SK. Ghanaian pair of Issahaku Yakubu and Charles Ankomah both played for Lierse SK.

William Owusu Acheampong warmed the bench for FC Antwerp who beat Patro Eisden 2-0.

DENMARK

Danish-born Ghanaian attacking midfielder Kevin Mensah warmed the Esbjerg bench in their 0-0 stalemate at Aarhus in the Superliga.

Versatile defender Daniel Amartey played for FC Copenhagen in their 1-0 loss against BK Odense.

In the second-tier league, Joseph Mensah played full throttle and helped AC Horsens to a 2-0 win over Skive.

FRANCE

In the Ligue 1, right-back Dennis Appiah, who recently signed a two-year-contract extension at Caen, played the full 90 minutes as Olympique Lyon punished them 4-0 at their own backyard.

Herve Renard did not select Ghana starlet Yaw Yeboah in his Lille squad that beat Ajaccio 1-0.

French-born Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei scored a 66th minute goal for Stade Reims to inspire them to a 4-1 win over Lorient. Kyei was replaced in the 68th minute but striker Abdul Majeed Waris missed the trip with Lorient due to injury.

In the Ligue 2, Ghana U20 defender Emmanuel Ntim failed to make the Valenciennes squad for their 5-1 hammering of Red Star.

In the Ligue de National, former Ghana U17 and Nania FC captain Charles Boateng played the entire 90 minutes for Avranches who drew 1-1 with Frejus Saint Raphael.

Midfielder Joachim Adukor lasted 69 minutes for AS Béziers when they got humiliated 4-0 by ASM Belfort.

GERMANY

Defener Daniel Opare missed Augsburg's 1-0 painful loss to newcomers Ingolstadt with injury. The former FC Porto and Standard Liege defender is nursing a calf injury.

German-born Ghanaian youth midfielder Gideon Jung played the first 45 minutes for Hamburg SV when they lost 2-1 at FC Cologne.

Swedish international of Ghanaian descent Joseph Baffo played the full 90 minutes for Eintracht Braunschweig as they whitewashed Karlsruher 6-0. Philemon Ofosu-Aryeh missed the game with injury.

Midfielder Manfried Osei-Kwadwo failed to make the Kaiserslautern squad for their 3-1 loss at Heidenheim.

In the Liga 3, former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Evans Owusu Nyarko came off the bench to score the second goal for Holstein Kiel who lost 3-2 at VfL Osnabruck.

Prince Owusu played 74 minutes for Stuttgart II when they lost 2-0 against Erfurt.

SERBIA

Midfielder Michael Tawiah was not in the Borac Cacak team when they drew 0-0 with Jagodina.

CYPRUS

Midfielder John Arwuah marked his debut for AEL Limassol by coming off the bench in the 63rd minute to replace Ghanaian midfielder Carlos Ohene as they posted a narrow 1-0 win over Ayia Napa.

Former Manchester City defender Razak Nuhu was booked in the 59th minute and played the entire match for Anorthosis Famagusta who beat Nea Salamis 3-1.

Mustapha Quanyor scored a 20th minute opener for Ermis who held Aris to a 1-1 draw.

GREECE

Eric Warden was not in the Levidiakos team that slipped to a 2-0 loss against champions Olympiakos on Sunday.

Michael Essien was not in the Panathinaikos team that defeated Kalloni 4-0.

PORTUGAL

Brother of Black Stars midfielder Wakaso Mubarak - Alhassan Wakaso was booked in the 19th minute and played the entire game for Rio Ave when they held Vitoria Setubal to a 2-2 draw.

In other games, Ernest Ehemeng and Emmanuel Boateng were both booked while in action for Moreirense. Boateng assisted the second goal for Moreirense as they lost 3-2 against Benfica.

Samuel Inkoom was a full timer for Boavista who slipped to a 4-0 loss at Sporting Braga.

Osei Barnes warmed the Ferreira bench during their 1-1 draw with Arouca.

SCOTLAND

Prince Buaben was replaced my ten-man Heart of Midlothian who lost 3-2 against Hamilton.

Former Liverpool Academy striker David Amoo and Abdul Osman were both in the Partick Thistle squad for their 2-0 home loss against Aberdeen.

SPAIN

Inaki Williams missed Athletic Bilbao's 2-0 away loss at Eibar due to injury.

Midfielder Thomas Partey did not gain match fitness to make the Atletico Madrid squad for their 3-0 away victory over Sevilla.

Bernard Mensah did not make the Getafe squad for their home loss against Granada CF.

Ghana goalkeeper Razak Braimah manned the post for Cordoba but they lost 3-1 against Leganes.

In other games, on loan Granada CF midfielder Fatau Mohammed played the entire minutes of the game for Almeria who lost 3-2 against Real Zaragoza.

SWEDEN

Injured King Osei Gyan did not play for Halmstad BK when they lost 4-2 at Djurgarden on Saturday in the Allsvenskan.

2015 Ghana U20 defender Joseph Aidoo watched from the Hammarby bench when they shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw with Kalmar on Friday.

Ebenezer Ofori played till the 91st minute for AIK Solna who beat Atvidabergs 1-0.

Kwame Bonsu played 57 minutes for Gefle IF who lost 3-0 at Goteborg.

Malmo FF confirmed their superiority over Helsingborg IF by beating them 3-0. Both Enock Adu Kofi and Ema Boateng played for the two sides.

Norrkoping snatched a vital away win from Falkenbergs after beating them 1-0. Ghanaian pair of Enock Kwakwa and Godsway Donyoh both started the game from the bench with Donyoh coming off the bench to play.

Elsewhere at the Behrn Arena, injured Sam Mensah watched from the bench as his Orebro side defeat BK Hacken 2-0. Both Nasiru Mohammed and Mohammed Abubakari played full throttle for Hacken.

In the second-tier league, Kingsley Sarfo played 84 minutes for Sirius United who held Utsiktens to a 1-1 draw.

TURKEY

Defender John Boye scored a late equaliser for Sivasspor in their 1-1 draw with Osmanlispor on Sunday.

There was no Jerry Akaminko in the Eskisehirspor that drew 1-1 with Rivespor.

In the second-tier league Joseph Attamah played in central defence for Adana Demirspor in their 1-1 draw with Boluspor.

Kwame Karikari played the first 45 minutes for Balikesirspor when they smoothly edged Kardemir Karabuk 2-0.

USA

Dominic Oduro scored the consolation goal for Montreal Impact who lost 2-1 against Toronto FC on Saturday night.

In other games Harrison Afful played the full 90 minutes for Columbus Crew and helped them to a 2-1 win over New York City FC. Midfielder Kwadwo Poku came off the NYCFC bench in the 60th minute but could not help them avert the defeat.

David Accam scored to earn a point for Chicago Fire in their 1-1 draw with Orlando City. His Ghanaian compatriot Patrick Nyarko also played for Fire.

Gershon Koffie came off the Vancouver bench in the 69th minute to play for the Canadian side in their 2-0 loss at Houston Dynamo.

FINLAND

Defender Gideon Baah did not play for HJK Helsinki when they drew 1-1 with Ilves.

NORWAY

Winger Ernest Asante played the full 90 minutes for Stabaek when they slipped to a 2-1 loss against Odd Grenland. Former Ghana U20 midfielder Kamal Issah sat on the Stabaek bench.

In the second-tier league, striker Mahatma Otoo scored for Sogndal IF in their 2-1 home win over Follo on Sunday.

RUSSIA

Black Stars midfielder Rabiu Mohammed played the full 90 minutes for Kuban Krasnodar when they lost 1-0 against CSKA Moscow.

Wakaso Mubarak was not in the Rubin Kazan' side for their 2-1 away loss at Sarank.

SWITZERLAND

Ebenezer Assifuah played 86 minutes for FC Sion who posted a 2-0 win over FC Thun.
