Hornets seal Dawson deal
Watford manager Javi Gracia has added to his central defensive options by signing Craig Dawson from West Brom for £5million.
The 29-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Hornets, which will keep him at Vicarage Road until 2023.
Dawson joined the Baggies from Rochdale in 2010 and featured in 194 league games for the club, scoring on 14 occasions.
The former England Under-21 defender made 45 appearances last season as West Brom eventually lost out to Aston Villa in the Championship play-offs.
Watford have also signed the former Arsenal defender Bayli Spencer-Adams on a one-year deal.
The 18-year-old central defender said: "I’m buzzing to be here.
"Watford is a really great club that pushed for Europe and got to a cup final last season, as well as playing a lot of young players, so it's good to get this opportunity with a Premier League club.
"I'm a strong, physical defender who likes to get stuck in. I'm also comfortable on the ball and with my feet and I like to be a leader who communicates with my team."
Meanwhile, Watford forward Jerome Sinclair has agreed to join Dutch outfit VVV-Venlo on loan.
The 22-year-old will spend the 2019/20 campaign with a side that finished 12th in the Eredivisie last season. Sinclair had loan spells with Sunderland and Oxford United last term.
Watford are 11/4 to finish in the top half of the Premier League in 2019/20 and 10/11 to beat Brighton on 10th August.
