The Black Sharks of Ghana made history by qualifying for their first ever AFCON beach soccer competition by beating the Sand Cranes of Uganda 13-2 on Sunday in Accra.

The team put up a splendid performance to seal qualification to their maiden AFCON competition with the thumping of Uganda 13-2 after already wining the first leg in Uganda 9-6.

With incoming Sports Minister Dr Mustapha Ahmed cheering them on the Sharks responded positively putting 13 goals in the net of their opponents.

Their performance in qualifying is expected to generate interest within the Ghanaian populace as they prepare to compete amongst the best in Africa.
