Hearts technical director Can Vanli has bemoaned the lack of depth in the squad as he battles to save the team from relegation.

The capital-based side slipped into relegation after drawing 0-0 at Medeama last Sunday.

Hearts have been disappointingly poor this season with relegation starring in their face but Turkish trainer Can Vanli has admitted the team lack quality.

“I appreciate the players but the team needs more experienced legs looking at the club’s position on the league log but for individual skills and brilliance, they have,” he told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM

“We have a strong team, strong individual players but you know it’s not enough to be strong individually, we need to rather build a strong team and this will take us three years but this am trying to do it in some three months which is pressure.”

Hearts must produce positive results against Berekum Chelsea and WAFA to stay afloat.
