Mubeeb Saed has resigned as the spokesman for struggling Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak.

Saed, who turns 40 in November this year, has tendered in his resignation following weeks of speculation.

The journalist was appointed as the club’s spokesman in 2012 by majority shareholder Togbe Afede to replace long-standing Albert Commey.

But he has resigned from his post due to the club’s lack of focus, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

A graduate of Ghana’s Premier Communication University, the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), he had stints with the Editorial section of Ash FM (Kumasi) and Skyy Power (Takoradi).

He also holds a master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in French from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
