Tunisian Ligue 1 giants Esperance du Tunis sent a strong signal to Ghanaian opponents Hearts of Oak after demolishing Stade Gabèsien 6-1 in the Tunisian Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Cameroonian international Makon Nloga hit the opener from the spot as early as the second minute before Haythem Jouini and Hocine Ragued scored to add to a brace from Nigerian Samuel Eduok rounded up the win for Esperance.

Hearts are billed to travel to the Tunisian capital to face 26-time Ligue 1 champions in the first-leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final knock out stage.

Esperance are going for revenge from Hearts who defeated them back-to-back en route to their CAF Champions League success in 2000.

The Phobians have grouped in Akuse in the Eastern Region of Ghana to fine tune their preparations before they travel next week for the first-leg tie.
