Former Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo says the current technical handlers should ensure they keep the 2000 CAF Champions league winners in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

Hearts find themselves on 15th position with 36 points and just two games to end the season.

The Phobians only managed a point against Medeama in their match day 28 fixture leaving them on the brink of going down to division 1.

Mohammed Polo who coached the club last season says current handlers should do everything possible in keeping the team in the league.

“Hearts of Oak is a great club with a lot of great history and we cannot afford to let it all go down,” Polo told Accra based Citi FM

“If you look at the conditions the team have at the moment it was better than I had as a coach but the only thing at the moment is that they should keep the team alive in the league.”

Hearts will take on Berekum Chelsea next in their last home game of the season.
