Hearts of Oak defender Shawn October expects the side to improve following their 1-0 defeat to AC Djoliba on Sunday.

The Phobians progressed to the final qualification stage of the CAF Confederation Cup despite the defeat to the Malian side.

The tie ended in a 2-2 aggregate draw with Hearts progressing on the away goal’s rule.

Defender Shawn October believes the team will learn from its mistake to improve in their subsequent matches.

“It is never nice to lose but the main objective was to qualify,” he said.

“We will take all the negatives and positives and move on.”

Hearts await a CAF draw to know their next opponent.
