Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has blasted his porous defence in the 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Inter Allies.

The Phobians – in particular goalkeeper Tetteh Luggard – committed two grievous errors to hand the win to the Tema-based club who are now up to third in the First Capital Plus League.

The fans rightly charged at the team on their way out to vent their fury for the lackluster performance of the players.

An obviously riled Herbert Addo pulled no punches in blasting his leaky defence as responsible for the defeat to Allies on Sunday.

“I feel very bad, not that we lost but the way we lost,” he said.

“We played father Christmas today. Look at the first goal, a mistake between the goalkeeper and the defender and then we gifted a goal.

“But Inter Allies proved the hungrier side.”

Hearts are now above the relegation zone due to their superior goal difference against Liberty Professionals.

The Phobians next face All Stars in the Ghanaian top flight.
