Hearts of Oak secured a 2-0 win over lower tier club Crystal Palace in a friendly match on Tuesday ahead of their trip to face Esperance in the CAF Confederation Cup.

An own goal handed the Phobians the lead before Gilbert Fiamenyo sealed the win in the friendly played in Akosombo.

The match was used by coach Herbert Addo to do his final touch ups before his team heads out to Tunisia to face Esperance in the first leg of the ultimate qualifier in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Phobians are expected to leave Accra for Tunis on Wednesday.
