Super Eagles forward,Taiwo Awoniyi will be out of action for close two months due to groin injury.

Awoniyi is suspected to have sustained the injury on January 4 while playing for Nottingham Forest in the game against Southampton at the Saint Mary’s.

Although, Awoniyi scored the line goal to give the Forest a winner, but has put out since then due to injury.

Now, French online platform, foot mercato, the Nigeria international will be out of action for two months.

Awoniyi is currently the club’s joint top scorer with four goals from 16 league outings.
